A wave for Bern
Wakesurfing in the middle of the city, all year round, without a boat on the lake – that is the idea behind wakesurfers.ch. The plan is an indoor facility with a standing wave in Bern. Riders surf one at a time, in sessions of up to nine people, complemented by a sauna, a jacuzzi and a cold plunge pool filled with water from the Aare.
We are proud to support the project as its technology partner.
What we contribute
At this early stage, the project needs one thing above all: honest feedback from the public. For that, we built the digital platform:
- Website in five languages – Bernese German, German, English, French and Italian
- "Does Bern need this?" survey – a step-by-step questionnaire on interest, pricing and wishes, protected against bots
- Live results – votes and comments evaluated continuously, so the team builds on facts rather than assumptions
- Secure sign-in – the internal area runs on our HIT identity platform
- Mail centre – replies to everyone who left a comment, individually or in bulk, in their own language
Why we are in
Our day job is platforms for document management, archiving and workflows. wakesurfers.ch gets the same care: clean data, secure access, multilingual from day one – the subject is just a lot wetter this time. Backing a Bernese project driven by real passion is a pleasure for us.
